Generic editor settings

Auto-completion

Show pop-up window: Immediately; Delayed; see Autocompletion
Shortcut key combination: Press requested key combination

Options

Right margin/split line end position
Smart auto indenting: see Indenting
Smart Home/End cursor positioning: If set, go to the beginning/end of the line even if the line is wrapped.
Tab key indents selection: If set, the tab key will indent a selection and shift-tab will unindent.
Visible whitespace mode: All; All except spaces; All trailing; All except non-trailing spaces

Non-project initial documents settings

In this panel you can set various initial document settings. Initial means that you can change them per document, but the default setting for new documents (or newly opened files) is set here. Projects can override these settings, so a document in a project may have a different default value than a document in a non-project window. See Projects.
