I'm Andy, a particle physicist in Cambridge, UK (but originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland). I don't use Bluefish at all for my work but has been hacking web pages together in it since about v0.6. My BF ideal is that it becomes powerful enough that I don't have to use emacs ever again, while retaining the clean interface that makes it so much more pleasant than emacs in the first place :-)
I've not yet had the time to code any serious features on to Bluefish (just occasional menu hacks for personal use), but I whinge lots about the interface :-) I may be persuaded to help with the manual sometime...
