Projects in Bluefish

Introduction

Bluefish has a basic project management implemented. The project will "remember", which files had been opened last, and will reopen them, when you open the project.

How to create a project

You can create a project by selecting Project/New Project. There you can decide about certain settings which become the default throughout the project. Click on save. Do not store the project file in the same place where your program files are. It's advisable to create a separate folder for your project files.

How to open a project

Once saved, you can always return to the project by selecting Project/Open Project or by selecting one of the projects listed in Project/Last opened projects... . You can open more than one project at a time. Bluefish creates a new instance if you open a project while another project is already open.
